Short and simple, I want to design interfaces. Not only electronic. Not only for high-definition displays. And not only for websites.

I want to be the person that says the buttons, switch, latch, or handle makes sense in this layout or for someone with X disability, that layout. I want to design new systems and pick a part bad ones.

I think I’d be writing this post a really long time if I were to list the things I would design differently. The list is varies from things like a TV remote control to a clothes dryer. Vehicle driver’s seats, walk-in closets, kitchen cabinets, wave caps/durags — it’s a serious list.

My point is I want to design interfaces. That’s my dream job. That’s the work that satisfies me the most. I want need to solve problems AND use my creativity. Interface Design checks both of those boxes.
