I saw a shooting star, but the coolest part is the coincidence

“Statistically, she’s much more likely to see a shooting star with me nearby than without me.” I saw my first shooting star this morning, but that’s only half of the cool part.

Couple midjourney generated prompt "petite curly haired Black woman and tall height muscular Black man holding hands, staring at stars, silhouette. Night time. sky full of stars. Arizona mountain landscape at night. Rocky area. wide angle"

This morning, I saw a shooting star standing outside while looking at a sky completely lit up with stars and standing next to the woman I love and admire.

This was my first shooting star. No kidding, you really can miss it if you blink. This instance was my lady’s second time seeing a shooting star. Coincidentally, her first shooting star flew over her head while she was standing next to me — I wasn’t looking up at the same time to catch th eccentric meteor.

What that means is that she should stick with me if she wants to keep seeing shooting stars. Statistically, she’s much more likely to see a shooting star with me nearby than without me.
